Bast is located near Baška Voda and on the slopes of Biokovo mountain. It is 2.5 kilometers away from the sea. This small place dates back to antic times when it was known under the name of Biston. Churches from 15th century are still standing proudly, along with some tombstones from medieval times.
Opis aktivnosti
Visiting the beautiful nature park Biokovo is a must if you are a nature lover, and there is much to see, from botanical garden Kotišina, natural caves, endemic plant and animal species, to amazing views and paleontological sites. Those into hiking will feel right at home.
Many bars and restaurants are invitingly located along the city promenade, both in Tučepi and in Makarska which is only a few minutes by car.
